WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- The National Park Service Glen Canyon National Recreation Area issued the following news release on Sept. 30, 2024:
The National Park Service (NPS) Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is requesting public review and comment on an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze a proposal to pursue options to prevent reproduction of smallmouth bass (SMB) and other warm water non-native fish in the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
