Maine Gov. Mills Radio Address: Applications Now Open for Funding to Help Working Waterfront Properties Rebuild From Winter Storms (10)
AUGUSTA, Maine, May 11 -- Gov. Janet Mills, D-Maine, issued the following radio address:
Maine's working waterfronts are the lifeblood of our coastal communities, and, you know, they were hit incredibly hard by last winter's devastating storms. So to help our communities rebuild, I proposed and the legislature has approved $60 million in storm relief.
Well, this week I was proud to announce that applications for some of that funding are now available.

AUGUSTA, Maine, May 11 -- The Maine Senate Democrats issued the following news on behalf of Maine State Sen. Henry Ingwersen, D-Arundel:
On Friday, the Maine Senate voted to enact and fund a bill from Sen. Henry Ingwersen, D-Arundel, that would improve access to long-term disability insurance for state employees. LD 1152, "An Act to Require Public Employers to Provide Long-term Disability Insurance Coverage," was then sent to the desk of Gov. Janet T. Mills.
