TOPEKA, Kansas, April 27 -- Gov. Laura Kelly, D-Kansas, issued the following news release on April 26, 2024:
Governor Laura Kelly today announced federal approval of the state's Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Initial Proposal Volume 2, providing an investment of more than $450 million to expand Kansas' high-speed internet infrastructure.
