WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, issued the following news release:
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to his Republican colleagues in the Senate, urging them to reauthorize the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) which is set to expire this spring. Without this critical funding, American victims of Manhattan Project-era radiation will be denied the compensation they need to treat diseases and cancers caused by the federal government's nuclear waste. more PR
