Tuberville, Britt Urge NCAA to Hold Championship Events in Birmingham (10)
WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 -- Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) sent a letter to NCAA President Charlie Baker advocating for future NCAA championship events to be held in Birmingham. Specifically, Coach Tuberville and Sen. Britt advocate for Alabama to host the Men's March Madness 1st and 2nd rounds, the Women's March Madness Regional Tournament, and the Women's Gymnastics National Championship.
